A STORY THAT DATES BACK TO 1918
From the Reggio Calabria cellar to the Milan restaurant
The story was born in 1918, by Gatto, a wine lover who gives hospitality to fellow citizens and foreigners to taste good wine. Then evolving over the years and with a leap of generation, the wine shop returns in more recent years thanks to his nephew Pasquale Gatto and his wife Diana Zerilli, Maitre Sommelier of the Chaine de Rotisseurs in Milan. The wine shop in Milan is evolving but the prerogative still remains one: to combine tradition with the quality of the product and the wine offered.
For this reason, in 2019 a change of location takes place, implementing the wine shop in via delle Forces Armed and Milan with a cuisine prepared by the chef Alessio Fortini, offering the possibility of refined tastings and rich in typical dishes of the Milanese, Lombard and Emilian tradition

The Enoteca proposes itself in the panorama of Milanese restaurants and wine bars as a shop of taste, where you can savor rich platters of artisan cured meats and cheeses from all over Italy, 330 labels of Italian wines, carefully selected by Pasquale Gatto and the sommelier Zerilli .
Over the years, the wine shop has obtained the recognition of Italian Excellence and the Gatto spouses have been awarded in London by the Travel & Hospitality Award 2019
